The article is a summary of the first edition of the e-learning course “Login: BIBLIOTEKA”. The training, commissioned by the Information Society Development Foundation, is designed for employees of public libraries. The project showed how important it is to develop modern librarians’ skills with new teaching methods. Lack of time and motivation are the most frequently occurring problems in traditional methods of education. E-learning offers more opportunities, eliminates restrictions and allows to adjust the pace of learning to the individual user. The author presents the details of the preparation, conduct and implementation of the project and opinions of participating members.References
