Wzory dziewiarskie jako tłumaczenie intersemiotyczne

Artykuł analizuje wzory dziewiarskie jako formę komunikacji intersemiotycznej, traktując dziewiarstwo jako dziedzinę na styku języka, obrazu, kodu operacyjnego i praktyki rękodzielniczej. Wzory rozpatrywane są jako system znakowy funkcjonujący w trzech komplementarnych formach zapisu: graficznej, symbolicznej i językowej, z których każda wymaga odmiennych kompetencji interpretacyjnych. Analiza studium przypadku swetra aran ukazuje, w jaki sposób narracje historyczne i kulturowe przypisane wzorom wpływają na ich odbiór i przekład. Artykuł wskazuje, że materialna realizacja wzoru stanowi finalny etap translacji, w którym abstrakcyjny zapis zostaje zmaterializowany jako obiekt funkcjonalny i kulturowy.
