Ontologization of Language and the Concept of Originary Logos according to Martin Heidegger and Maurice Merleau-Ponty

The aim of this essay is to elucidate important features of a conception which is in line with Heideggerian interpretation of phenomenology, and which becomes possible thanks to its hermeneutic opening accomplished by the German philosopher. Its main purpose is to showcase – using selected phenomenological approaches, and mainly Merleau-Ponty’s – the movement in which the world appears to us (the world becoming a phenomenon) as deeply linguistic and, at the same time, linked with the basic structures of our existence; to show the extent to which this movement of phenomenization is intertwined with seeing the world “as” together with its interpretation that are inherent to our fundamental perceptual experience.
