The Paradox of Freedom (2)

Abstract

The article develops the analysis of the paradox of freedom, according to which unlimited freedom leads to self-contradiction, so that genuine freedom requires the subordination of action to moral principles and respect for the freedom of others. Czeżowski argues that both individual and social freedom can be realized only in connection with justice and the principle of universal benevolence.
