Abstract

This issue of "Ruch Filozoficzny" is dedicated to Izydora Dąmbska on the 120th anniversary of her birth. In this way, we would like to recall her figure and scientific achievements. It is one of the most important figures in Polish philosophy, originating from Kazimierz Twardowski's Lviv School. Dąmbska was certainly an indomitable philosopher. In the difficult times of Stalinist terror, she stood up for her Lviv Master and the philosophy she had learned there and had to defend.
