Abstract

The aim of this piece is to fill the gap in philosophical inquiries and debates regarding climate issues identified there as lack of colonial context, both in regard to the genus of the phenomenon and its contemporary form. This sketch has a nature of discursive intervention with intent to introduce said context and selected readings. The principal postulate raised there is that lack of such contextualisation not only perpetuate the pattern of colonial „talking about” and connected with it patterns of repression, but also that because of the ethical profoudness of the issue, such way of debating has got dubious ethical and practical value.
