The flesh in pain: a conversation with John D. Caputo

The objective of this article is to critically examine the John D. Caputo’s early ethical project, described primarily in his work Against Ethics. The author places the theme of flesh in pain in the centre of his ethical approach. In this paper I aim to highlight the positive aspects of his work as well as to address its potential flaws.
