W artykule przedstawiono główne tezy filozofii przyrody Roberta Boyle’a (1627–1691). Poglądy Boyle’a na temat przyrody można określić jako system filozoficzno-przyrodoznawczych przekonań, które stanowiły pozanaukowy fundament prowadzonej przez niego działalności badawczej. System ten wpłynął na rozwój nowożytnego paradygmatu poznania naukowego. Rozważania Boyle’a były punktem zwrotnym w dziejach filozoficznej refleksji nad przyrodą.
