Pomiędzy „jeszcze nie” a „już nie”. Kulturowe ramy i regulowanie kobiecego ciała

Artykuł analizuje kulturowe mechanizmy kształtujące wyobrażenia o kobiecym ciele w dwóch okresach przejściowych: w ciąży/połogu oraz w okresie okołomenopauzalnym. Dowodzi, że kobiece ciało funkcjonuje w stanie permanentnego, jednoczesnego „jeszcze nie” i „już nie”, poddawane sprzecznym normom dotyczącym wieku, atrakcyjności i autentyczności. Dwa studia przypadków – jeden dotyczący dyskursu momfluencerek, drugi – reakcji medialnej na publiczną zmianę wizerunku Pameli Anderson – pokazują, jak praktyki troski o ciało splatają się z neoliberalnym imperatywem samoakceptacji i samodoskonalenia. Autorki wprowadzają innowacyjną metodę zawiasu czasowego, pozwalającego odnieść do siebie perspektywy dwóch badaczek należących do różnych generacji i mających inne sposoby funkcjonowania w kulturze konwergencji.
