Abstract

The Polish Historical Mission operating in the years 2001–2009 at the Max Planck Institute for History in Göttingen was set up on the basis of the long-lasting cooperation between the historians of Toruń and Göttingen. During its activity scholarships were granted to Polish scholars, international scientific conferences and workshops for PhD students and students along with lectures given by Polish historians were organized. During this period five editions of the Bulletin of the Polish Historical Mission and three volumes of the series Prussia Sacara were published.
