Editorial Policies
Peer review process
- All papers are reviewed by two reliable and independent reviewers, who are most competent in a particular field, and are not employed at the same institution as the author. The editorial board is responsible for the first assessment of the scientific value of submitted texts.
- The editorial staff makes sure, that there is no clash of interests between reviewers and authors (direct personal relationship between the author and the reviewer [kinship, legal relationship, conflict], professional relationship, direct scientific cooperation in the past two years, affliation in the same institution).
- The process of reviewing is run anonymously as double-blind peer review.
- Every review is created in a written form and must end with an explicit conclusion concerning the matter of allowing an article to be published, or rejecting it.
- Author are informed about results of reviews and comments made by reviewers and they can make alterations to the text.
- A final decision about the publication is made by the scientific editor after his / her familiarisation with the reviews and recommendations.
