Abstract

The aim of the article is to present the importance of SME sector in Finland over the last several years. The performance of the sector is featured (SBA profile – Small Business Act) in comparison to other European Union countries. Moreover, the impact of the crisis on Finnish SME sector is described, as well as the issues of innovativeness.
