RESEARCH ON THE QUALITY OF UNIVERSITY CLASSES IN THE CONTEXT OF THEIR CLIMATE

Abstract

The transmission of knowledge is not merely the selection of appropria te teaching methods; it is also influenced by personal interactions. This study explored the influence of student-teacher interpersonal relationships and the influence of these interactions on students’ opinions of the quality of education. The primary objective was to understand aspects that compel a student to attend classes taught by a particular teacher. The study acquired data on 540 students and 270 lecturers. It hypothesized that the higher the degree of positive student-teacher interactions, the higher the students’ evaluation of class quality. The correlation was found to be positive and statistically significant at 0.01 level (Pearson’s correlation coefficient of 0.636)
