The article deals with description and analysis of product, technological and organizational innovations. It is an attempt tom identify main sources of innovation processes in SMEs sector. According to fi nal results of the investigation it is necessary to emphasize product innovation domination in food production, wood and metal manufacturing. The main source of innovations is an activity in R+D. The imitation process is also important, but much moore in technological and organizational innovations.
