Plans and numbers. Writing workshop in Józef Łobodowski’s notebooks

Abstract

The article is devoted to the work plans and numbers in Józef Łobodowski’s notebooks. Although they are a marginal editorial phenomenon, they can be considered an important element of the writer’s writing practices, as he regularly organized his work and publishing duties. The analyses carried out in the article present how to read such notes and what information they provide about the Łobodowski’s literary and journalistic work. Graphic, numerical and textual elements were related to the ritual of literary creation, thanks to which the author organized his duties, forecasted the pace of work and its results.
