Poczucie własnej wartości na lekcjach języka obcego i w procesie jego uczenia się: teoria, dowody empiryczne i implikacje dla nauczania

Artykuł analizuje znaczenie samooceny w edukacji, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem uczenia się języków obcych. Opierając się na dwóch kluczowych badaniach (Cano-Jiménez i Rubio-Alcalá, 2022; Rubio-Alcalá i Cano-Jiménez, 2024), przedstawia strukturę i wzajemne powiązania trzech wymiarów samooceny w kontekście zajęć z języka obcego: kompetencji językowej, wykorzystywania umiejętności w praktyce oraz postrzeganego wsparcia społecznego. W badaniu przeprowadzonym na dużej próbie osób uczących się języków obcych zastosowano skalę SEFLS (Self-esteem in the Foreign Language Classroom Scale - Skala samooceny na zajęciach z języka obcego), a uzyskane dane poddano ilościowej analizie statystycznej. Wyniki wskazują na istotne znaczenie samooceny odnoszącej się do konkretnej dziedziny dla osiągnięć w uczeniu się języka obcego. Artykuł kończy się przedstawieniem zaleceń dydaktycznych oraz propozycji nowych kierunków dalszych badań.
