Peer review process

Review Policy

1. Papers submitted for publication are subject to an initial assessment by the Editorial Team of Studia Podlaskie. After approval, they are directed to external reviewers.
2. Reviews are prepared on the form available on the Academic Journal Platform, in the so-called double-blind review mode (the review procedure is confidential and is anonymous on both sides).
3. If one of the reviews is positive and the other negative, the editors have the right to appoint a third reviewer.
4. If the author does not accept the comments of reviewers and editors or the editors do not agree with the author's corrections, the author may withdraw the text, and the editors may reject the text.
5. The final decision on placing an article, rejection, or referral for correction is made each time by the editor-in-chief of the journal.
