Anti-plagiarism policy
"Studia Podlaskie" maintains a policy aimed at preventing plagiarism and other forms of research misconduct. Only original scholarly works that are the result of the authors’ own research and have not previously been published, either in whole or in substantial part, in journals, monographs, edited volumes, or other publications may be submitted for publication. Authors are required to guarantee that a submitted manuscript has not been simultaneously submitted to another journal or publishing venue. Information concerning the originality of the manuscript and any previous forms of its dissemination is confirmed by authors through acceptance of the declarations included in the submission checklist required during the manuscript submission process in the APCz system. All manuscripts submitted to the journal are screened using the iThenticate plagiarism detection system. In cases where plagiarism, self-plagiarism, duplicate publication, or other violations of publication ethics are identified, the Editorial Board reserves the right to reject the manuscript at any stage of the editorial process. Authors are required to provide accurate references and properly cite all publications, sources, materials, and data used in the preparation of their manuscripts. Authors bear full responsibility for the use of photographs, illustrations, maps, tables, charts, and other materials protected by copyright. By submitting a manuscript, authors confirm that they possess all necessary permissions and rights required for the use and publication of such materials. The Editorial Board documents all identified cases of research misconduct and violations of publication ethics. In justified cases, it may notify the relevant academic institutions, employers, research funding bodies, or other entities responsible for maintaining research integrity.
