HUMAN ECOLOGY AS A PROTECTION AREA OF THE HUMAN BEING, DIGNITY AND INTEGRITY

Abstract

In the article the author uses the term human ecology to defi ne a specific direction of human action which is to protect not only the world of created nature but also the nature of a man. The research question was: What does it mean that man is at the centre of creation? What are the consequences of this in the field of economics, economy, etc.? This inquiry raises an important issue regarding the relationship between broadly understood environmental ecology and people. The author comes to the conclusion that the human person should be at the centre of this relationship. Human ecology places the person at the centre precisely in order to rediscover him or her in their universal dimension and thus both to protect the nature of the human person and to build a harmonious relationship between the man and the natural world. The discussion covers the universal levels of human existence: life, common good, relationships. In this way a fundamental conclusion is reached: every person will be fully respected only if he or she solves the various challenges they face today based on the human nature. The personalist vision of man grasps the human being in its universal abilities (reason, will, virtues). It presents the dimensions of human existence that are common to all. Therefore, the search for solutions based on such a solid and permanent approach to man will undoubtedly allow us to effectively face various threats hat appear in the modern world.
