This paper presents Rev. Jozef Jankowski as an example for young people on the example of the Primary School in Czyczkowy which was named after him. He came from this village and grew there. Father Jozef was active in the priestly ministry between 1936 and 1941. Despite tortures and other forms of persecutions he never renounced his faith in God and his love for neighbour which eventually led him to martyrdom at the Auschwitz concentration camp. His memory is still very much alive in his home village and especially its school. There is abundant evidence for this which has been collected from documents, press articles, event reports and other forms of student activities which foster Rev. Jankowski as a role model for the young generation.
