Introduction to the Current Issue of „Ruch Filozoficzny” Quarterly

Abstract

The scientific and organizational achievements of Kazimierz Jerzy Adolf of Skrzypna Ogończyk Twardowski (1866–1938), one of the greatest Polish philosophers of the 19^th and 20^th century has not been fully recognized. The 80^th anniversary of his death gives an opportunity to reduce the negligence and devote the whole issue of “Ruch Filozoficzny” quarterly to the philosophical output of Professor Twardowski. The content of the journal consists of two parts. In the first part,  we publish the materials prepared by Daniela Gromska and Izydora Dąmbska previously printed in the volume 14 of the journal after Twardowski’s death. In the second part, we  present the lectures on the philosophy of Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel that Twardowski delivered in the academic year 1904/1905.
