Consequences of the amendment of article 7 section 2 point 1 of the Act on Farm and Woodland Conservation for the activities of power companies

Since 26 May 2013 each change of use of agricultural land class I–III regardless of the surface of this change in the case of location overhead power lines poles on the land can only be carried out in the local land management plan and only after obtaining the consent of the Minister responsible for rural development. The article rated previously existing and currently adopted solutions for the reassignment of agricultural land class I–III for non-agricultural purposes. It pointed out the consequences of the amendment of Article 7 (2) (1) of Farm and Woodland Conservation Act on the activities of power companies. In addition the author showed the directions of changes which again will enable the realization of all linear power investments on agricultural land being class I–III land without the need to obtain the consent of the Minister responsible for rural development for the reassignment.References
