The article focuses on legal consequences of exceeding permissible levels of noise emissions resulting from the A ct of 27 April 2001 on environmental law. In particular, the author discusses the exclusion of the application of the Act concerning noise protection in the context of the implemented European law. Subsequently, the author discusses modes, targets and effects of issuing decisions determining permissible noise levels. The article contains reflections on questions concerning the application of rules guaranteeing protection against noise and proposals for necessary amendments to existing legislation.References
