Abstract

The author discusses new books by three Indigenous American writers – N. Scott Momaday, Richard Wagamese, and Clayton Thomas-Müller – pointing out that they share a common theme. These books address issues related to Indigenous philosophy and reflections on the relationship between humans and nature. In his conclusion, the author suggests that the reviewed books help readers to understand the principles of the Indigenous worldview by emphasizing qualities such as mindfulness, sensitivity, and humility.
