UNIVERSITY EDUCATION QUALITY AND ACADEMIC CITIZENSHIP BEHAVIOUR: THE MEDIATING ROLE OF STUDENT LOYALTY

This study investigates the relationship between university education quality and student loyalty and academic citizenship behaviours in Polish public universities. This study extends to the current literature by viewing students as essential members of academic institutions rather than just customers, resulting in a more complex understanding of student-institution interactions. Survey data from a variety of business majors show a substantial positive relationship between perceived education quality and both student loyalty and academic citizenship behaviours, with loyalty mediating the relationship. These findings highlight the significance of quality-oriented university strategies in fostering student loyalty and encouraging academic citizenship behaviours, implying that institutions may benefit from recognising students as valued academic community members rather than simply as consumers of educational services.

Plagiarism and ghostwriting
In response to the issue of plagiarism and ghostwriting the editors of the Journal of Positive Management has introduced the following rules to counteract these phenomena:
1. Contributors should be aware of their responsibility for a content of manuscripts.
2. Collective authors are obliged to reveal the contribution and an affiliation of each author (i.e. who is an author of specified part of a paper).
3. Any act of dishonesty will be denounced, the editors will inform appropriate institutions about the situation and give evidence of all cases of misconduct and unethical behaviour.
4. The editors may ask contributors for financial disclosure (i.e. contribution of specified institutions).
