Published since 2008, "Itinera Spiritualia" is issued yearly by the Carmelite Institute of Spirituality and by the Publishing House of Discalced Carmelites in Kraków, Poland. Each issue of the journal includes scholarly articles dedicated to specific themes of theology of spirituality and its connections with other theological and scientifical specializations.

Among the topics of the issue number IX the most are connected with the life and the teaching of St Teresa of Jesus (four articles, including three in foreign languages) and two articles with the evangelical counsels. The other articles deal with current topics, connected with the Year of Mercy (2016), with the task of renewed reading of the Constitution of Institutes of Consecrated Life and with the rule of gender in a spiritual life.
