CHANGES TO AUTHORSHIP
The journal’s editors generally do not accept changes to authorship once a manuscript has been submitted. Authors are encouraged to carefully consider the authorship list and order before submission, as the initial submission should include a definitive list of authors. According to the journal’s policy, all authors must be listed in the manuscript, and their details must be entered into the submission system. Any request to add, remove, or rearrange authors must be made prior to the manuscript's acceptance and requires the approval of the journal editor. These requests must be initiated by the corresponding author, who must provide a valid reason and written confirmation from all authors, including those being added or removed.
Post-acceptance requests to change authorship will only be considered under exceptional circumstances. If such a request is made, the publication process may be paused while the journal editor reviews the request. If approved after publication, a corrigendum will be issued. Unauthorized changes to authorship may result in the rejection of the manuscript or retraction if it has already been published. Thus, it is crucial that authors establish the correct authorship list before the initial submission to avoid complications.
APPEALS AND COMPLAINTS
Authors have the opportunity to challenge an editorial decision if they believe it was made due to a significant misunderstanding of a core aspect of their manuscript, a failure to recognize its contribution to the literature, or concerns regarding the manuscript-handling process. Differences in opinion regarding the novelty or significance of the reported findings are not considered valid grounds for appeal. To initiate an appeal, please contact the journal via email and provide an explanation for your appeal. The appeal will be discussed by the entire editorial team at the next editorial meeting. The editor's decision following an appeal consideration is final.
