In December 2024, during archaelogical work conducted in the the Wdecki Landscape Park, park employees discovered the remains of a camp belonging to the Home Army partisan unit codenamed „Świerki” („101”), whose commander was Alojzy Bruski pseudonym Grab. The „Grab” unit took over from Stefan Guss, pseudonym Grab, the organizer and former commander of „Świerki”, on the orders of Lieutenant Colonel Jan Pałubicki, Commander of the Pomeranian District of the Home Army. In 1944, the Home Army partisan units operating in the Tuchola Forest, namely „Świerki”, together with Jan Sznajder’s „Jedliny” („102”), unit codenamed „Jaś-Dąb” and Jan Szalewski’s „Szyszki” („103”) unit codenamed „Szyszki” („103”), formed the Home Army Partisan Group codenamed „Grab.” „Cisy” (Cisy), „Bory” („100”). The group’s commander was Second Lieutenant Alojzy Bruski, pseudonym Grab.
