This text, based on trauma research methodology and the author’s personal experience, demonstrates how to effectively work with one’s own traumatic experience. Through detailed analysis, the reader learns about the various categories of trauma – individual, collective, and intergenerational, which were present in communities and families affected by deportations. The author demonstrates that consciously working with trauma allows not only to understand its mechanisms but also to disrupt intergenerational transmission. As a result, the text becomes a practical guide to healing from the legacy of historical wounds.
