Women’s activities within the Union of Armed Struggle – Home Army (ZWZ–AK) Busko o District: selected examples

Abstract

The aim of this article is to discuss the activities of women within the Union of Armed Struggle – Home Army (ZWZ–AK) Busko District in the southern part of the Kielce region. Various forms of women’s activities were presented: from communication; transporting weapons, ammunition and other military  materials; helping Jews down to doing the sanitary service. The article also  describes the German repressions against individual women involved in the  activities of the resistance movement.
