Abstract

Artykuł został przygotowany na podstawie fragmentu pracy magisterskiej dotyczącej internetowej społeczności dorosłych kolekcjonerów zabawek. W tekście autorka stara się przybliżyć tematykę Monster High, jak i nakreślić kontekst przeprowadzonych przeze mnie badań terenowych. Głównym celem pracy jest szczegółowe przedstawienie procesu budowania prywatnych kolekcji przez fanów serii i omówienie ich relacji z kolekcjonowanymi przedmiotami. Ostatnia część tekstu zawiera autorskie uwagi dotyczące możliwego funkcjonowania kolekcji Monster High w przestrzeni muzealnej.
