Joanna Wasilewska, Muzeum Azji i Pacyfiku w Warszawie Polski Instytut Studiów nad Sztuką Świata

Historyczka sztuki, dr nauk o sztuce, dyrektorka Muzeum Azji i Pacyfiku w Warszawie. Interesuje się relacjami kulturowymi i artystycznymi pomiędzy Europą i Azją, także w aspekcie muzealnictwa, tradycjami teatrów azjatyckich, zwłaszcza lalkowych, historią stroju i mody. Jest autorką licznych katalogów muzealnych i artykułów oraz książki Pióropusze i turbany. Wizerunek mieszkańców Azji w sztuce jezuitów polskich XVII i XVIII wieku (2006). Członkini Polskiego Instytutu Studiów nad Sztuką Świata oraz Stowarzyszenia Historyków Sztuki. Od 2014 r. współpracuje z Uniwersytetem Humanistycznospołecznym SWPS w Warszawie, a od 2019 r. z Instytutem Bliskiego i Dalekiego Wschodu Uniwersytetu Jagiellońskiego.
