Kaarle Wirta, Tampere University

Kaarle Wirta (PhD) – a specialist in early modern business history, lecturer at the Tampere University. He received his doctoral degree at Leiden University in 2018. Recently he has done research on the early modern Finnish tar trade in an international business context funded by Kone Foundation (Finland)

Henri Hannula, University of Helsinki

Henri Hannula – PhD student at the University of Helsinki (Doctoral Programme in History and Cultural Heritage). In his PhD thesis project Hannula is analysing the late 17th-century Dutch-Scandinavian commercial relations
