Akademicka Platforma Czasopism (apcz.umk.pl) is a modern IT system supporting management, information flow, communication system, reviewing and indexing of publications. The system was implemented at the Scientific Publishing House of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń in 2013. It was the first digital platform of this type of scientific journals in Poland. The installation is based on the Open Journal Systems (OJS) open source software implemented as part of the Public Knowledge Project. Initially, the Academic Journal Platform was based on OJS version 2.x, now the core of the system is OJS version 3.x. In addition to scientific journals published by the Nicolaus Copernicus University, the Academic Journals Platform provides external services to other scientific institutions.
