Authors retain the copyright to their texts. Submission of an article to the editorial board constitutes consent to its publication in the journal Humanistyka Medyczna / Medical Humanities and to the text being made available under an Open Access model on the specified licence.

The journal does not charge any fees for submitting an article or for its publication (no APC – Article Processing Charges).

2. Self-archiving policy

Authors publishing in the journal Humanistyka Medyczna / Medical Humanities retain the right to deposit the published versions of their articles in institutional repositories, subject-specific repositories, university databases and on the author’s personal websites.

The journal permits the archiving of the final published version of the article (Version of Record) without an embargo period, provided that the full bibliographic details of the publication and a link to the journal’s website are provided.

When re-sharing the article, the author should include information about the original place of publication and the applicable Creative Commons CC BY-NC-ND licence.
