Etyka polityki w monarchistycznej doktrynie Antonia de Guevary

Abstrakt

The purpose of the text is to interpret the work entitled The Dial of Princes by Antonio de
Guevara. The main field of interpretation is the ethics of politics, and the main subject of
research is monarchist political thought presented by a Spanish author. The text consists of
four main elements: a) the primacy of ethics over politics; b) stoic philosophy as a practical
philosophy; c) monarch deontology; d) the dial metaphor. As part of the conclusions, in
addition to the recapitulation of the threads contained in the work, the significance of the
discussed item in the light of the principles of Spanish traditionalism was presented.
