Some current problems that Russian Kant scholars have faced in recent years working on these editions are presented. Three cases illustrate crucial difficulties within translations and interpretations of Kant, as well as their origin. The first case concerns Kant’s expression ‘Kausalität der Ursache’ in the Critique of pure reason and Prolegomena; the second one involves the term ‘Gesinnung’ in Kant’s critical writings, and finally the third analyzes Kant’s letter from 1758 to Tsarina Elisabeth. Although the final volume of new bilingual edition of Kant’s key works (1994–2019) has been just published, I conclude that Russian Kant Scholarship is already in need of a brand new edition.
}, number={2}, journal={Studia z Historii Filozofii}, author={Krouglov, Alexei}, year={2020}, month={kwi.}, pages={7–32} }
