Journal of Positive Management is the forum integrating academics, researchers and practitioners around problems of modern management. Particularly, we would like to encourage and inspire contributors to adopt positive perspective in their analysis and discussions. Positive management is an emerging approach focusing on strengths and positive phenomenon in the organization as a source of its development and success. This new paradigm should be regarded as a complement and supplement to the perspective of  overcoming troubles and negatives dominating so far in management studies.

Adopting the perspective specified above contributors should cover the theoretical development and the practical application of both the “hard” and “soft” aspects of management, including:

  1. organizational behavior,
  2. leadership and power in an organization,
  3. strategic management,
  4. corporate social responsibility,
  5. human resources management,
  6. quality management and business/organizational excellence,
  7. performance measurement and self-assessment,
  8. management system standards,
  9. knowledge management.

Research, case studies and examples can be cited from the public and private sectors of industry and commerce, including manufacturing, health, education, local government and other service firms.

Contributions should emphasize any practical implications of the research or findings as well as future research implications (including lessons from unsuccessful initiatives).
