Ligia Henczel-Wróblewska, PhD, is an academic at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. She studied Italian in Florence in Centro Linguistico Italiano per Stranieri “Dante Alighieri”. As part of the Erasmus programme she cooperates with Università degli Studi di Torino. She is the head and member of Polish and international research grants. She is the author of publications ( in Polish, Italian, English) connected with the migration of Poles to Italy, bilateral social-cultural connections, the Polish cultural heritage in Italy, such as Dzieje Polaków we Włoszech (Poznań 2006); Poles in the culture of Piedmont in the nineteenth century and the first decades of the twentieth century (Poznań 2014); I Polacchi in Piemonte (1848–1919) (Poznań–Kalisz 2016); Per una storia dei polacchi in Italia nella lunga durata, [in :] PL.IT Rassegna Italiana di Argomenti Polacchi, Polonia 1939–1989: la „quarta spartizione”, vol. 2.
