However, the number of organs, tissues and cells available is limited, and the need for transplantation, especially in highly developed countries, continues to exceed supply. Unfortunately, the attempts to increase the availability of transplant material so far have not led to a visible shortening of waiting lists. Due to the above, all over the world, at various levels, actions are taken to fully use the potential of this type of therapy. Such activities include, inter alia, adopting solutions that will enable the donation after circulatory death.</p> ER -
