Therefore, it is necessary to study the basic risk factors for liver fibrosis progression and ways of their diagnosis, including non-invasive ultrasound techniques, in pediatric patients with chronic HBV- and HCV-infection, as their modification may improve the influence for prognosis and clinical consequences.
